Cambria Season 2: The Riskiest, Most Addictive Crypto Game of 2025?

Imagine if Runescape, Ultima, and Hunger Games collided in a crypto arena — that’s what you get with Cambria, the brutal risk-to-earn game taking the Web3 world by storm. Now in Season 2, the game has become a degenerate favorite, with players staking real assets like NFTs, tokens, and in-game items — and losing them if they fall in battle.

Built on the Ronin and Abstract networks, Cambria features a medieval fantasy world where every fight could cost you everything. It’s not just play-to-earn — it’s play-to-survive.

Popular gaming streamer Yellow Panther called it “addictive.” Web3 personality Inhuman went as far as to say:

“Cambria is the only Web3 game that will do this to you… I haven’t showered in 2 days.”

Gaming analyst Icobeast.eth summed it up for 38K followers:

“Cambria proves the real issue with Web3 games is that most have sucked. This one doesn’t.”

Even Stonkrates, another top Web3 commentator, praised its design:

“It’s a Runescape-style MMO launched on Abstract with great XP potential — and low barrier to entry.”

Currently, Cambria is running a rewards event through April with “huge USDC prizes.” To join, players must mint a Royal Charter for 56 RON (just under $30).

PIXEL Goes Multi-Game, Enters Forgotten Runiverse

The beloved $PIXEL token — originally native to the breakout farming RPG Pixels — is going cross-platform. For the first time, PIXEL will be usable in a third-party game, integrating directly into The Forgotten Runiverse, a fantasy MMO where players can swap the in-game token Quanta for PIXEL.

This means you can now spend PIXEL on Mana, boosts, and exclusive Pixel-themed rewards — expanding the token’s utility across the Ronin ecosystem.

“That’s right — $PIXEL is going multi-game,” the Pixels team posted on X.

Founder Luke Barwikowski teased a novel staking system and hinted at upcoming integration with Limit Break’s application tokens.

Despite a broader gaming token downturn, Pixels remains one of the most-played Web3 games, boasting 152,560 unique active wallets. However, $PIXEL has dropped 83% year-to-date, currently trading around $0.02661, according to CoinMarketCap.

Fishing Frenzy: Casual Crypto With a Slice of Sashimi

If Cambria’s high-stakes chaos isn’t your style, Fishing Frenzy might be. Recently migrated to Ronin, this mobile-friendly game offers a cozy play-to-earn experience, with a twist.

You fish, cook, and trade your catch — literally. After reeling in fish, players can turn them into sashimi, earn Pearls, and spin a reward wheel for Frenzy Points. NFT items like rods and treasure chests are tradeable and usable in-game.

While not revolutionary, Fishing Frenzy adds depth to casual mobile gaming, offering something more engaging than your average click-to-earn game.
