In a wild twist, personal info belonging to Solana co-founder Raj Gokal got blasted all over the internet thanks to a hack on the Instagram account of the American hip-hop group Migos, yes, that Migos with 13 million followers. Late Monday, the account went rogue, posting seven images that included what looked like selfies of Gokal holding his driver’s license and passport, both fully visible and unredacted. Not to be outdone, a photo of a woman, allegedly Gokal’s wife, flaunting her driver’s license, also made the unwanted public debut.

Hacker Drama Unfolds with Threats and Spam Calls

The data dump didn’t stop there. One post revealed Gokal’s phone number with a cheeky call to “spam” the Solana president, clearly stirring the pot. Another ominous message read, “You should’ve paid the 40 BTC,” suggesting Gokal may have been blackmailed before the leak. The hackers capped off their stunt with a Telegram group chat link for those eager to join the chaos.

Despite the drama, the rogue posts stayed up for over an hour before disappearing shortly after midnight Tuesday. On May 21, Gokal tweeted that attackers had been trying to hijack his email, social media, Google, Apple, and other accounts for the past week, which sounds like quite the digital siege.

This isn’t a one-off incident; lots of celebrities and influencers have had their social accounts hijacked by hackers, usually to promote fake cryptocurrencies and scam their fans. Looks like even crypto pros aren’t safe from the hacker circus.
