It’s official, Pump.fun is back on top, at least for now. The Solana memecoin launchpad reclaimed its throne, launching 19,238 new tokens in just 24 hours, barely edging out LetsBonk.fun’s 9,418.

"Pump.fun, the legacy launchpad with deeper liquidity and history, recently re-flipped LetsBONK.fun as its PUMP token regained momentum," said Kronos Research’s Vincent Liu.
When it comes to trading volume, Pump.fun also flipped LetsBonk.fun in volume for the first time since July 5. Oh, how the tables have turned!

PUMP Token's Rollercoaster Ride
If you’ve been paying attention to Pump.fun, you know its PUMP token had a wild ride. Last month, it launched its ICO and raised $600 million in a jaw-dropping 12 minutes. But, as is often the case, the hype didn’t last long. The price of PUMP started to tumble, and now it’s on the comeback trail. Data shows a slight 17.8% price rebound over the last week, with PUMP trading at $0.003384. Still, it’s down 52% from its all-time high of $0.006812 after the ICO. Can it keep this momentum going? Time will tell.

But hey, Pump’s not sitting back and relaxing. They’ve reportedly launched a multimillion-dollar buyback of their token, giving it another shot at glory.
LetsBonk’s Strong Community & Raydium Backing
But let’s not forget LetsBonk.fun. Backed by the Bonk community and integrated with Raydium’s LaunchLab, LetsBonk had its own moment in the spotlight, overtaking Pump.fun for a while. LetsBonk isn’t just about tokens; it’s about liquidity and community. The platform uses half of its fee revenue to buy and burn BONK tokens, while also supporting BONKsol, a liquid staking token.
"LetsBONK's strong community and Raydium integration continue driving its rapid growth," Liu said.
It’s all about liquidity and a dedicated user base in this battle for the memecoin throne.
Solana vs. Base
And while Solana is battling it out with LetsBonk, there's a new contender in town: Base. Coinbase’s Layer 2 network is gaining momentum, with its launchpad now surpassing Solana’s in the number of tokens launched. As Base continues to integrate with platforms like Zora and Farcaster, it’s quickly making a name for itself in the world of decentralized social media and tradable tokens.
So, who will win in the end? Pump.fun or LetsBonk.fun? Solana or Base? One thing’s for sure: the memecoin wars are heating up, and it’s anyone’s game!
