Photos from Donald Trump’s hush-hush dinner with his top memecoin buyers reveal a fancy three-course meal and gift bags, while outside, protesters shouted about Trump cashing in on the presidency.

The exclusive event, held at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia, hosted some of the 220 largest holders of the Official Trump (TRUMP) token, a crypto project critics say screams conflict of interest. Attendees were welcomed by posters reading “Fight Fight Fight,” the slogan of the company behind the memecoin, proudly displayed on tables.

The White House played it coy and refused to release the guest list, but big names like Tron CEO Justin Sun, Magic Eden CEO Jack Lu, and BitMart CEO Sheldon Xia shared snaps from the night.

Dinner started with a “Trump organic field green salad,” followed by filet mignon and pan-seared halibut with mashed potatoes and veggies, finishing with a lava cake. Oh, and every guest scored a gift bag featuring a black hat, nice touch.

Highlight of the night? Justin Sun, the largest buyer of Trump’s memecoin and former SEC defendant (case dropped under Trump’s watch), got called on stage and gifted a flashy golden Trump-branded watch worth $100,000, because why not?

Sun’s starring role didn’t go unnoticed. Media outlets like The Wall Street Journal pointed out how this dinner might have tightened his ties to Trump and his family.

Protests and Crypto Controversy Stir the Pot Outside

But it wasn’t all cheers. Around 100 protesters showed up outside, booing and waving signs like “Stop Trump’s Crypto Corruption,” “Democracy Is Not For Sale,” and “Crypto Grift Dinner Bribery On Menu.” Some called for Trump’s impeachment and demanded US financial reform.

Meanwhile, Trump-linked groups reportedly raked in about $100 million in trading fees from the TRUMP token, which launched just two days before his inauguration on January 20.

And the crypto saga continues: on March 24, Trump Media signed a non-binding deal with Crypto.com to roll out “Made in America” exchange-traded products in the US.
