A TikTok prankster who scored an invite to Donald Trump’s pricey crypto dinner has zero chill for the three-course meal, calling it the “worst food” he’s had at a Trump golf course. Nicholas Pinto spilled the tea to WIRED on May 23, saying he left the event hungry and unimpressed, while others called the meal “OK, but not top-class.”
The fancy menu at the May 22 shindig (where guests shelled out millions to attend) featured a “Trump organic field green salad,” followed by filet mignon and pan-seared halibut with mashed potatoes and veggies.

Dessert was lava cake. Pinto’s verdict? “The only good thing was bread and butter.” He even dubbed the filet mignon “trash” and “Walmart steak” during the event.
“I was hoping for either Big Macs or pizza,” Pinto said, knowing Trump’s love for McDonald’s. “That would have been better than the food that we were served.”

Trump’s Speech Didn’t Impress, and Democrats Want a DOJ Probe
As for Trump’s speech, Pinto didn’t hold back, calling it “pretty much like bullshit.” Trump read from a script, saying, “Some of the smartest minds from all around the world were in the room” and that crypto “may be something special… who knows, right?”
The crowd wasn’t exactly wowed, especially since Trump left right after his short talk, skipping the part where he was supposed to hand out fancy watches to the top token holders.

Meanwhile, 35 Democrats want the Justice Department to investigate the event, suspecting Trump of accepting foreign investments that could violate bribery laws and the U.S. Constitution’s emoluments clause. The clause bans the president from accepting gifts from foreign states without Congress’s approval.
It should be illegal for the president of the United States to charge people money to have dinner with him. Campaign donations are fine. But not direct payments to the president's personal account. Nor should a president sell White House tours and pocket the proceeds personally.

Trump invited the top 220 holders of his TRUMP memecoin to the bash at his Trump National Golf Club in Virginia, with many guests flying in from around the globe.
