Who knew a bug could make butt-shaking even more hilarious? Ketsu Battler, the Nintendo Switch game that’s as ridiculous as its name, has a quirky issue when played on the new Switch 2. According to speedrunner Koh-So, the game seems to run faster on the Switch 2 than on the original Switch, and it’s all thanks to a strange glitch.

For those not in the know, Ketsu Battler (literally “Butt Battler”) requires players to attach a Joy-Con to their pants or underwear, specifically near their butts, and shake it to unleash sword attacks in the game. Shaking faster fills up a bar at the bottom of the screen, leading to special attacks. But on the Switch 2, that bar fills up way faster, leading to some absurdly speedy butt-shaking battles.

Koh-So, the sharp-eyed speedrunner, noticed this faster bar fill and tested the game on the original Switch to confirm that the bug is exclusive to the new hardware. The developers were quick to investigate and found that the Switch 2’s advanced hardware was speeding things up unintentionally.
While a fix is in the works, the devs have suggested players enjoy this "extreme version" of Ketsu Battler in the meantime. Guess it’s time to embrace the fast-paced butt-shaking madness while we wait for the patch!
