Ethereum just made a bold statement, smashing through the $3K barrier. This marks the strongest price ETH has seen in over four months. Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) wasn’t about to miss out, hitting new record highs at $118K. It’s a party for crypto, and everyone’s invited!

Now, ETH wasn’t exactly in the spotlight earlier this cycle, trailing behind the likes of Bitcoin and Solana (SOL). But, as we predicted in yesterday’s post, Ethereum’s rally has come roaring back with a 7.3% gain in just 24 hours, skyrocketing to nearly $3,030. Talk about a comeback!

Institutional Interest Fuels Ethereum’s Rally
According to Joel Kruger, market strategist at LMAX Group,
"ETH has taken the lead in price momentum, rallying off recent lows amid a pickup in derivatives activity and growing enthusiasm around its broader role in settlement and tokenization infrastructure."
Seems like Ethereum's finally getting the recognition it deserves.
Meanwhile, there’s a wave of institutional interest brewing. U.S.-listed spot ETFs have been seeing huge inflows, with over $500 million coming in just this month. And it's not just retail traders making moves, corporate crypto treasuries are stacking ETH too. Public firms like Sharplink Gaming and Bitmine Immersion Technology are now adding Ethereum to their balance sheets. As Pentoshi, a prominent crypto investor, pointed out:
"In less than one month, public companies will have bought enough ETH to offset all the ETH that's been created since the merge."
Ethereum might be 1/9th the market cap of Bitcoin, but it’s clearly packing a punch with less capital.
A Technical Look at Ethereum’s Explosive Rally
From a technical perspective, Ethereum experienced a significant rally, jumping from $2,989.07 to $3,029.85.
Support levels were established at $2,988.18 and $2,993.11, with resistance consolidating around $3,029.34.

If the momentum holds, the road to $3,100 might not be far off. Stay tuned, it’s getting interesting!
