Elon Musk’s Feud with OpenAI Continues
As if Elon Musk didn’t have enough problems with Tesla — stock drops, Cybertruck fires, and global sales — he’s now adding fuel to the fire with his ongoing battle against OpenAI. In a lawsuit filed in a U.S. court, Musk claims that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and others misled him into investing in the company.
The billionaire philanthropist, who invested a whopping $44 million, believed that OpenAI would remain a nonprofit organization focused on developing open-source AI for the benefit of humanity. Instead, Musk alleges that Altman and his team secretly planned to turn OpenAI into a for-profit company once its AI research led to valuable technology.

The lawsuit includes allegations of fraud, breach of contract, unfair competition, false advertising, and violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. According to Musk, the defendants broke agreements, engaged in self-serving deals, and unfairly profited from OpenAI’s technology through partnerships with Microsoft and other entities.
Musk is seeking damages, profit restitution, an injunction, and a ruling that some of OpenAI’s agreements with Microsoft are invalid.
It’s unclear why Musk suddenly has an issue with a company turning profitable, but perhaps his altruistic vision outweighs the pursuit of wealth. Then again, when you’re the richest person on the planet, you can afford to take that stance.
New Crypto Scam Targets TradingView Users
Our digest hasn’t gone without mentioning new scam tactics for the past few weeks. While we casually scroll through the news, fraudsters are hard at work devising more sophisticated ways to access your crypto wallets. Here’s the latest scheme you should watch out for.
Cybersecurity researchers warn about a new cryptocurrency theft scam involving a fake version of TradingView Premium. Scammers are spreading links to malicious software in crypto communities on Reddit, luring users with promises of free access to premium trading tools.
Instead of getting the expected software, victims end up downloading dangerous malware, Lumma Stealer and Atomic Stealer, which steal wallet data, passwords, and private keys. What makes this scam particularly insidious is that the fraudsters actively engage in discussions, even helping users install the infected files.
Malwarebytes discovered that the malicious files are hosted on the website of a cleaning company in Dubai, while the command-and-control server for the malware is registered in Russia. This serves as yet another reminder that “free” offers in the crypto space often come at the cost of stolen data and financial losses. Stay vigilant!
Institutional Investors Are Doubling Down on Crypto
Institutional interest in cryptocurrencies continues to grow, with 83% of investors planning to increase their allocations in 2025, according to a study by Coinbase and EY-Parthenon. Already, three-quarters of respondents hold assets beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum, and the popularity of DeFi platforms could surge to 75% within the next two years.
The report states
"Institutions are drawn to DeFi for a variety of reasons, citing derivatives, staking, and lending as the most appealing use cases, followed by access to altcoins, cross-border payments, and yield farming."
Altcoins like XRP and Solana are expected to strengthen their market positions, fueled by the potential approval of ETFs. The recent launch of SOL futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange further underscores the institutional interest in this sector.
Meanwhile, stablecoins are becoming a key tool for major players — 84% of institutions either already use them or are considering doing so. Their applications extend beyond simple transactions to include yield strategies, capital management, and cross-border settlements.
NVIDIA Speeds Up Humanoid Robot Development with AI
At the GTC conference, NVIDIA introduced its latest Isaac GR00T N1 foundational model, designed to advance humanoid robotics.
Now available, the new #NVIDIAIsaac GR00T N1 model, announced at #GTC25 📣

This model mimics human thought processes by distinguishing between intuitive (fast) decisions and analytical (slow) ones. By combining real-world and synthetic data for training, NVIDIA is significantly accelerating robotic development.
One of the key breakthroughs is using generative AI to create training data. In just 11 hours, NVIDIA generated data equivalent to 6,500 hours of human demonstrations, boosting GR00T N1’s performance by 40%.
AI also plays an important role in physical simulation, enhancing how robots interact with their environment. The new Newton engine, developed in collaboration with Google DeepMind and Disney Research, will speed up humanoid training and enable robots to perform complex tasks with high precision.
GR00T N1 is capable of grasping, moving objects with one or both hands, transferring items between hands, and executing multi-step tasks that require long-term context and a combination of general skills.
Already available, NVIDIA will pre-train and distribute GR00T N1 to robotics developers worldwide. This innovation is expected to help industries facing a global labor shortage of over 50 million workers.
The future from the movie ‘I, Robot’ has never seemed so near…
