MoonPay has become the default provider for Trust Wallet’s "Buy Crypto" feature for the next two years, starting with U.S. users. This deal is more than just a quick integration; it’s a deeper collaboration that builds on the relationship the two companies started back in 2020.
This partnership isn’t just a “let’s integrate and call it a day” kind of thing; it’s all about making crypto transactions smoother and more accessible for users everywhere. With MoonPay’s infrastructure now covering over 190 countries and supporting a wide range of payment methods and fiat currencies, Trust Wallet users are about to get a much easier time buying and selling crypto right in the app.
A Match Made in Crypto Heaven
MoonPay’s CEO, Ivan Soto-Wright, put it pretty simply:
“This is more than just an integration, it’s a strategic alignment between two major forces in the crypto industry.”
And I have to agree. Trust Wallet’s CEO, Eowyn Chen, echoed that sentiment, adding that MoonPay’s infrastructure is bringing smoother transactions and more payment options to their user base. So, yeah, everyone’s excited about this one.
MoonPay’s Big Year
This partnership is just the latest feather in MoonPay’s cap. Earlier this year, they teamed up with Mastercard to roll out stablecoin-powered payment cards. They also secured a New York BitLicense, allowing them to operate across all 50 U.S. states. Oh, and they snagged a spot on CNBC’s 2025 Disruptor 50 list, the only crypto-native company to make the cut.
Not to mention, MoonPay has been expanding its wallet integrations, with new support for TRON’s TRX, Tether (USDT), and other payment options like Revolut Pay, Apple Pay, and PayPal funding. They even scored an exclusive deal to power all ramps for the upcoming Rumble Wallet.
Trust Wallet’s U.S. Launch and Global Expansion
For now, the new integration is live for U.S. customers, but it won’t stop there. Trust Wallet plans to expand to more markets as the partnership continues. So, if you’re not in the U.S. yet, don’t worry, your turn is coming.
With this new deal, buying and selling crypto just got a whole lot easier. And it seems like MoonPay and Trust Wallet have big plans to make crypto as seamless as possible for millions of users worldwide. Looks like this is just the beginning!
