Bitcoin is having a fantastic Monday, up by 4.5% to $105,458, because who doesn’t love a little geopolitical drama to boost their portfolio? Ethereum was feeling extra confident, soaring 8.86% to $2,424.5. And of course, the altcoins weren’t about to be left behind, XRP made a 7.4% leap to $2.16, while Solana, clearly showing off, jumped 9.85% to $144.8. Who needs calm markets when you can have this kind of action?

Is This Rally the Start of Something Bigger?
So, what’s the magic behind this sudden surge? Oh, just a little announcement from former U.S. President Donald Trump.

On Monday evening, he dropped the bombshell that Iran and Israel had decided to take a break from missile and drone strikes, because nothing says "market stability" like a ceasefire announcement.

Apparently, all it took was a Truth Social post (because where else would world-altering news come from?) to get the crypto market all fired up. "Conflict cooled, clarity returned," said Vincent Liu, CIO at Kronos Research. With tensions easing, capital just couldn’t wait to flow back into crypto. As for Bitcoin? It powered past $106K, talk about a revival, right?
Now, of course, the big question on everyone’s mind is: will this ceasefire-induced rally transform into a long-lasting bull run? Liu seems optimistic, but let’s be real, crypto’s like that friend who says they’re “just taking a short break,” but you know they’ll be back in the drama before long. The market's focus will now shift to whether institutions are buying up ETFs, how trade talks are going, and if the dollar’s getting any stronger. Because, of course, the macro factors will keep this "ceasefire" fire burning.
But, wait, plot twist! Not so fast. Iran’s Foreign Minister made sure to keep things interesting, stating there’s no official ceasefire yet, although Iran has no plans to keep fighting as long as Israel plays nice. Oh, the suspense.
As Iran has repeatedly made clear: Israel launched war on Iran, not the other way around.

As of now, there is NO "agreement" on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations. However, provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no…
Will peace hold? Stay tuned, because this geopolitical game of cat and mouse is far from over.
